Strawberry Cough is a sativa dominant strain that is a must-try. Thanks to cannabis pioneer Kyle Kushman, this unmistakable strain resulted from a cross between Strawberry Fields and Haze. Many have speculated that the strain was created through chance in 2000. Kushman allegedly received a clone from a friend that was later grown next to a strawberry patch. He was surprised to find that the strain had a pungent strawberry scent that was later named Strawberry Fields. To take it a step further, Kushman crossbred his strain with a Haze plant. The end result was the Strawberry Cough.
